My US Treasures – Non-Beauty

Hi loves! It’s been 20 days since I have been back from the US. I have already shown you my US beauty treasures in this post so now it’s time to tell you about all the non-beauty items I brought back home. It’s been so long that I don’t remember any exact prices so I chose not to add them, I hope that’s alright. Anyway, let’s start from the bottom to the top so first up: shoes!

I bought a pair of American Eagle sandals, green Converse sneakers (perfect for spring!) and 2 pairs of Jordans (SC-1).

I got a red pair of leather-look pants from the brand Machine Jeans; I don’t remember the actual store I got these from though. Then on the right is a dark-wash pair of Levi jeggings that I got on sale.

At Wet Seal, I got this adorable Minnie Mouse sweater. And at a store called Prototype, I found an Obey t-shirt with a Keith Haring print.

Both shirts come from a Papaya store – on the left, you see a slouchy shirt with a ripped up cross on the back. The one on the right is a dark-green, almost black no-sleeve top with a white tank top and a belt attached.

The dress I found at the local NEX (Navy Exchange) and I love that they switch the print up in the waist area; it gives it a fun twist. On the right is a light-wash denim jacket I bought at Wet Seal – the material is soft and very comfortable to wear. The buttons are rose gold.

Speaking of Wet Seal, they always have the best promotions. I’m especially crazy about the 5 for $20 deal – I bought these 5 v-neck t-shirts for only $20! You can also mix and match and get tank tops or leggings as well. I found them to be of good quality by the way. On the bottom picture you see a warm and soft grey sweater I got at Aeropostale; a store which I often shop at for comfy clothing!

Now we’ve made it to the top: hats! I like fitted hats, especially to match my shoes, so I got three! The two on the left match my Jordans as you may have already noticed. The one on the right is from my American football team; the New York Giants. And then I got a winter hat from my favorite NBA team; the New York Knicks. The purse I got from http://www.dailylook.com although I don’t think it’s still available.

watch

I got my lovely husband to thank for this purchase – he got me this beautiful Guess watch (with an extra 2 watch bands) as an early Valentine’s gift because we couldn’t celebrate together. I think he got this at Macy’s.

Last but definitely not least is my iPhone 5! I have always been an Android user but I was thrilled when my friend Misa gave me her old iPhone 4 for Christmas. I then headed to Verizon to get a sim card for it when the salesperson told me I could exchange it for a new iPhone 5 and I would only have to pay a fraction of the original price. I am very happy with it and would never go back to an Android again. Of course, I had to get some cute cases for it! The Otterbox on the left (pink with grey – tree details) I got at Verizon at the same time I got my phone. All the other ones I got on http://www.ebay.com; I can give you the links to the sellers if you would like. Just leave me a comment.

I brought back 3 suitcases from the US but they were mostly filled with gifts for my family. I also forgot to mention I brought some instant Quaker oatmeal back because it’s not easy to find all the flavors here in Belgium. I left so many clothes and shoes in Hawaii with my husband though so they can be shipped to our next base which will be Rota, Spain! I’ll tell you all more about that when the time is right.

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!
